CTSA PROGRAM UPDATE

October 13, 2017

COORDINATING CENTER

NCATS DIVISION OF CLINICAL INNOVATION AND THE CENTER FOR LEADING INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION (CLIC) ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF TWO NEW WEBSITES FOR THE CTSA PROGRAM:

The CTSA Program Consortium Website: https://ctsa.ncats.nih.gov/ctsa/home
As the CTSA Program continues to evolve with new projects and initiatives, there is a need for a unified website that ensures a cohesive presence for the Program’s activities.  This new website is maintained and updated by NCATS with current governance and policy documents as well as communication updates from webinars and newsletters. The website provides links to CTSA Program funded collaborative projects and most importantly, it’s coordinating centers, the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC) and CTSA Program Data to Health (CD2H). Please visit the Initiatives subpage to learn more about the exciting activities of the Program!

CTSA Program Coordinating Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC) Website beta release: https://clic-ctsa.org/
NCATS and the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC), the new coordinating center for the CTSA Program, is proud to roll-out a “beta release” website for the CTSA Program.  This “soft launch” is initially intended for continuity of the collaborative workspaces of the Domain Task Forces (DTF) as CLIC begins to migrate existing CTSA Program work into a centralized place for information.  Comments on the website are appreciated via completion of a feedback survey.

COMMON METRICS

 COMMON METRICS UPDATE

The Common Metrics Implementation Initiative’s website provides resources for strategic management.  Inform your Turn the Curve plan strategies using the IRB Review Duration, Pilot Funding Publications, and Careers in CTR driver diagrams and change packages.

Questions? Contact Redonna Chandler.

INFORMATICS METRIC UPDATE
Responses were received to the informatics metric survey from 60 sites – thank you for your prompt responses – your time to complete this is greatly appreciated! There is a clearer idea about the diversity of data models being used across the CTSA Program. About half of responses indicated interest in participating in the informatics metric pilot. The Common Metrics CLIC team is currently conducting calls with these hubs to assess readiness and gather a few more details to assist in the final selection of pilot sites. The number of pilot sites is under consideration; however, notification will be sent whether selected or not. Watch the newsletter for updates on the pilot, which is anticipated to start in mid-November.

Questions? Contact Raquel Ruiz-Price.
